So then how did it go? Well it took me 6hrs 3 minutes – near enough an hour off my original time and it brings me close to the magic 4 miles per hour which I was hoping for before I originally started.
Still not decided whether i’m going to do the big walk… i’ve got plenty of time to decide though.

Weather forecast for tomorrow appears favourable for round 2 of my pointless walks to Manchester. The last one (for those who don’t remember) took 7 hrs, i’m aiming for 5hrs 30 mins this time. When I get to Manchester… i’ll decide whether i’ll do the 40 mile walk in Cumbria.

Apparently I don’t exist… yep that’s what the bank had to say today. They refused to put a cheque into my account because it was for Mr Paul Griffiths. Had it been for Mr Lee Griffiths then that would have been fine so the bank manager reckoned. Even though technically neither exists because as most people know, I am Mr Lee Paul Griffiths.
I do like a good argument, i’ve always thought it keeps the mind active. Not having anything better to do today, for almost 30 minutes I remonstrated with the manager in full view of all other customers. It was fun… I think I should get round to moving banks though, over the years it seems to have been one problem after another – they’re incompetent, just ask Sabs!! However I shall fill in my customer satisfaction survey first to get the free bottle of wine…
