Lack of space error
June 27, 2006, 5:34 pm
Maybe someone isn’t too bright… it’s the age old problem of “i’ve done the E and the N too big but only realised when I got to A the E wouldn’t fit on!!” Such a quality looking establishment…

Flexibility
June 26, 2006, 6:40 amI think I could get used to working this flexi-time. I’m aiming for a 7:30am start today (the earliest the flexi clock starts) with a finish about 4:15pm. That way i’ll have enough hours completed so that I can have an early finish on thursday and friday.

Bug of the week #2
June 25, 2006, 8:03 pm
One of the oldest bugs I have, currently missing from the car dashboard due to ongoing essential repairs. From 1999, to celebrate the forthcoming new year of 2000 with the tag line “Please support St. Rocco’s Hospice”.

Stagecoach Taxi

I’ve seen a few of these around Stockport… or maybe it’s just the same one constantly following me around ;-). What does everyone reckon - will they take Megarider tickets if you ask it to follow the 192 route?

Ah well, here’s one of the cars in the dealer next door… yellow, or should I go for orange?!!! I wonder if they have decent fuel economy figures

Isn’t it nice - it’s at the side of the Pyramid. I inspected it…it was fine. It got a good report. There endeth the story!

World Cup Castlefield style
June 20, 2006, 11:45 pmPenny got some tickets for the Castlefield football showing so as they were free, a few of us went along… Sabs and Penny got interviewed by some bloke from MEN Online (it could be here but i’m only on dial up so can’t check). Sabs was supporting Sweden apparently, Penny it seems could well be the next football pundit - how she knows so much I don’t know. I only learned who the opposition were a little before the match!!
All in all, it wasn’t too bad. It was a lot emptier than i’d expected - more of a family viewing, the organisers had even laid on some inflatable red and white footballs for the children to play with. It is fair to say the stewards and police looked rather bored after everyone was inside… no disturbances or riots to give them something to do… but everyone got frisked on the way in after the trouble following the last showing at Exchange Square.
