Irwell Bridges

It seems that the bridges over the River Irwell south of Manchester Cathedral have some signs giving a little historical context to the river. It forms an informative meander through Salford & Manchester if you work your way along them all…

Stockport College

The ongoing redevelopment of the college site continues. This building on the Shaw Heath side of the college, furthest away from the A6 is earmarked for demolition. It will be a bumper day for a reclaimation yard - there is a fair amount to be salvaged.

Scanned Wrappers

What is wrong with the world? It was always enjoyable to consume freshly baked bread as you wandered around the supermarket, presenting when you got to the checkouts empty wrappers and asking for them to be scanned. Tesco in Toton frowns upon this sort of behavior it seems…

The Doors

It probably could be successfully argued that the old back door on the house in Nottingham (left) wasn’t that secure… the new super cheap one that I got directly from B&Q’s own supplier looks much more suitable.
