I was there last night waiting for the 2211 Northern Rail service to Blackpool North calling at… amongst other places Wigan North Western. The question was - wait in the foyer or go and play with some snow?

The cost of commuting

I’ve had the new car for one week now. Hence, i’ve concluded :-

1997 Nissan Almera, 1.4l engine - £50/week petrol
1995 Volvo 940 Estate, 2.3l engine - £80/week petrol
2006 Nissan Note, 1.4l engine - £35/week petrol

Overall, a good choice maybe…

Girl Power Penguin & G.A.F.A Penguin

Go Penguins is well underway in Liverpool. Of the penguins I have seen so far, Girl Power Penguin is my favourite. I was particularly impressed by the painted flowers.
