There is a goldmine of really old archive video out there taken as part of the Pathe newsreels. It is well worth a look.

Nottingham East Midlands Model Railway Exhibition 2010
This weekend was the 2010 model railway exhibition in Nottingham. It was rather large and with a good mixture of layouts and traders. I had hoped for a larger secondhand section however and so I only invested in a Warehouse card building kit from Modelyard which I can adapt for my needs. It was money well spent.
I did discover “T Gauge” (1:450 scale) from Japan. I was rather impressed – I might have to make my own T Gauge railway eventually given the prices are so cheap compared to N or Z Gauge.

Old Signage
I look at this fading sign every day. I think it says “John Broad – Rag & Metal”. The sign is on a building off Joules Court in Stockport. I wonder if it will still be legible in a years time…
