They say you don’t get anything for free, and it is generally true. This telescope and tripod was destined for a skip this afternoon. It has now been given a new home in Warrington.

Demolition of Bowden View Bridge, M56 J7
The bridge across the motorway was demolished on 16th October 2010. The eastbound carriageway section had gone first.
The next bridge along the motorway formed a perfect vantage point for a fair few onlookers.
