Woodbank parkrun
This morning was the first outing of the new club vest. As I was also working today, I chose the Woodbank parkrun in Stockport. I learned mid-course that there is a particular offensively inclined hill alongside Vernon Park Museum which people are expected to run up, other than that the 5k course was relatively flat. A placing of 37th out of 120 was somewhat disappointing and i’ll aim for top 25 next time now I know where the hill is. I can hence estimate where my recuperation period should commence so I am prepared to sprint up it.
