Time standing still…

I came across this scene and immediately thought about the photo’s you see in museums of streets and general life that were taken around the 1900s. Apart from the small amount of tarmac in the foreground which is the give away, I reckon this could well be Edgeley, Stockport, circa 1920 rather than summer 2006.
