And relax…
I’ve looked forward to this weekend ever since wednesday. It’s not that I suddenly don’t like the job, just that i’ve been all over the place this week – including Oldham twice! The tiredness from the early starts / 70 miles per day drive didn’t hit me until wednesday evening. To be fair, the commute to Oldham actually wasn’t too bad… just long.
T’was a nice surprise that all the doom metered out by the pointless and useless “traffic & travel” reports on the radio this morning were clearly wrong. If they had bothered looking at the traffic cameras then surely they could have seen the brand new roadworks on the M60, west of Stockport, hadn’t materialised! I whizzed through junction 2 to 1 without stopping – the actual roadworks apparently start monday…
Now to the pub!
