Zzzzzz…squish

Advert on Radio “Falling asleep during driving can increase your chances of dying…” Never! I wouldn’t have thought that ;-) . It was the percentage increase that surprised me though… it was only 50%. I would have thought falling asleep say for example on the motorway or on narrow twisty roads which lets be honest most roads are… would increase your chances of imminent death by nearly 95%?! The other 5% could be you driving into big haystacks or piles of elastic bands at the side of the road I suppose…

Being in a crash might have a higher percentage, but dying wouldnt be that high, humans are quite tough.

My stepdad fell asleep on a motorway donkey’s years ago and woke up under a lorry with his head out of a window he hadnt opened. Obviously he was an absolute mess (he screamed when he was finally allowed to look in a mirror and his brother in law fainted when he went to see him)

Don’t mean to be pedantic, just thought this little story was relevant :)
