Culverts, drains and the like are very eery places. You can see absolutely nothing in front of you – it’s totally black. Then there’s the constant whistling from the wind funnelling in from the other side – it’s very strange. I just popped my head in and thought “it’s about 200 metres long – no, don’t fancy that”, so just took external photo’s and left. It’s an interesting symmetrical picture I came out with though…

Tunnels are indeed scary! Even in the photo if you stare into the darkness you can imagine something nasty coming towards you. *shiver*
