Modern Tower
It just doesn’t seem as easy to include new buildings into the Manchester Architecture feature… they don’t have intricate carvings or details anymore. I have heard people bemoan modern buildings as bland – I think some are, others seem to be experimenting with newer materials, giving different finishes to make them stand out in their own way. I think this block of flats has been quite successful in doing that. It is on Rochdale Road at the Manchester City Centre end.
