Sculpture
The garden is looking remarkably tidy for the first time in years. I now have a huge pile of natural stone (I think it is Blue Yorkstone) which I have collected together from various smaller piles scattered around the garden to use somehow. My first idea was to create a rockery just to use it all up… the fact that there are already two around the garden made me think something else might be worth trying.
Andy Goldsworthy is my favourite sculptor, his work utilises natural materials such as leaves, ice and stones like this slate cone. I’m going to build my own cone later in the year I reckon… It can go in front of the new trellis I built a few weeks ago.
