The 9th world short course swimming championships started yesterday in the MEN Arena. Most amusing comment from all of the interviewed competitors was the american who on being asked the question “What do you think about Manchester?”, replied “I really like it over here, i’m such a big Beatles fan…”. There you go, she obviously thinks the Beatles are actually from Manchester.
