The cost of fixing up the TR7

It’s getting to that time of the year when I start thinking about bringing the TR7 back to life for summer. We’ve had a successful engine firing this morning (the first since the gearbox was changed). There doesn’t appear to be too many big jobs left, mainly the welding under the boot, replacing the exhaust I had to snap in half to get the back axle off and replace the vinyl roof for good measure as it’s the same one that was vandalised back in 2000 when some Rusholme scallies tried to pinch the car. £385.41 in parts to get it roadworthy again from my favourite Triumph dealer

It seems they have a TR7 for sale for a quite reasonable £2,995 if anyone else fancied fun motoring… my 2 TR7s are enough for me – I haven’t the space for another one.
